The Parent Forum is run by parent governors in an informal environment that encourages open discussion and provides a direct line of communication between parents and carers, the school and the board of governors.
Parent Forums are held once per term, and attended by Class Representatives or any other parents/carers who wish to attend, where they will have the opportunity to share the views of parents about issues that affect their children’s experience at Raglan. Parent and carers’ opinions are important and help the school to make decisions that will benefit the whole school community.
Each Forum has a central focus for discussion and past topics have included Communication, Homework and Parent Participation.
If you are interested in becoming a Class Rep or you would just like to find out who your Class Rep is, please contact Scott George (Parent Governor). email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that the Parent Forum will not discuss the needs of individual children and parents/carers should continue to discuss these with their child’s teacher.
In a change to the format this year a member of staff will also be attending Forum meetings.
Next Forum Date: 28th June 2017
The forum will be open to anyone wishing to attend and we appreciate the important role of Parent Reps in gathering views of those not able to be there in person.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
