On Thursday 14th July 2016, ULC visited Godstone Farm. We had a fantastic time and were kept very busy by our farmer, Anita. She allowed us to handle chicks and rabbits, which were all very soft indeed. We went on a tractor ride around the farm where we saw donkeys, alpacas, goats and dinosaurs! YES…DINOSAURS!
We also had to feed the pigs, who were HUGE and very greedy. Did you know that pigs have very poor eyesight and so have to smell where their food is? We visited the shop and used our maths learning to help us work out how much we were going to spend and what change (if any!), we would need.
We were all very tired after our busy day. So much so, some of us fell asleep in the minibus on the way home! See the Raglan website for all the photographs of our fun day out at the farm!
