Dear Parents /Carers,

We are writing to let you know that we are moving from the Schoolgateway to Arbor. You will receive a welcome message on Monday 22nd March which will enable you to log into Arbor. We feel this move will enable us to communicate with parents in the safest and most efficient way.

Our aim is for our parents and carers to feel as much a part of their child’s education as possible. The Arbor Parent Portal and App gives you access to your child’s attendance, messages and payments and to book parents evening. Through the Parent Portal you can see further details about your child’s attendance and are able to update key information about your child.

Once you have successfully logged into the parent portal using a laptop or computer, we would like parents to download the Arbor App from the App Store.  This will enable the school to send SMS messages for free to those parents who have the Arbor App on their phone, saving the school money.

Who are Arbor?

Your child’s school has chosen Arbor as their MIS provider. An MIS is a system that helps schools collect, store, manage and use all the information they need. Arbor is a simple, smart and cloud based MIS, meaning the data isn’t physically stored in school, making Arbor super secure as computer theft or damage at the school would not lead to data loss or a data breach. It also means you can log into Arbor to see and update your child’s information or make payments and bookings yourself!
